However, we recommend avoiding steam, saunas, and heat, and using only the active ingredients recommended by your esthetician, as your skin becomes highly permeable for 12 to 24 hours after the treatment. It’s important to allow only the ingredients we want to penetrate deeper into the skin during this time.
